Scott Renfroe is the best choice for state senator in District 13. He strongly opposed Referendum C, which would have returned $3.5 billion to Colorado residents. His opponent, Dale Hall, worked hard for its passage (the largest tax increase in Colorado history), allowing government to expand old programs and create new ones. Hall's campaign literature touts him as a conservative, but his record is precisely the opposite.
Renfroe stands for smaller government, lower taxes and less regulation. The choice is yours. Can government do a better job with your money than you? I urge you to vote for Scott Renfroe.

Paccione will be a leader in Congress
I'm angry with our do-nothing Congress. At a time of stagnant wages, surging energy prices and massive debt, this Congress is more concerned about gay marriage and flag burning.
This rubber-stamp Congress has refused to do one of its most important jobs -- oversight. The latest outrage is evidence that the National Security Administration asked AT&T to set up phone-monitoring centers seven months before Sept. 11, 2001. We need an investigation of all the facts relating to domestic spying.
Rep. Marilyn Musgrave is part of the problem. Fortunately, we have an alternative in Angie Paccione. It's time for real leadership, for a change.

Hall brings experience to legislature
Dale Hall brings experience, leadership and results to his campaign for the Colorado Senate. These qualities have been recognized by his peers in the legislature. They have selected Hall to serve on the powerful Joint Budget Committee. Hall's membership on the JBC enhances his ability to serve Greeley, Weld County and Colorado.
We need to return Hall to the legislature by voting for him in the Aug. 8 Primary Election. Hall's experience and leadership are needed to solve the issues facing Colorado. Please join me in voting for Dale Hall for the Colorado Senate.
