Brutal corporate interests that control the U.S. Congress, state legislatures, and most municipal commissions and trustees have finally produced two documents that are guaranteeing the destruction of the middle class in this country. Local governments, particularly state and municipal, will bare the brunt of illegal immigrants immigrants when the middle class is finally decimated.
The Flake-Gutierrez bill proposed in the House and the Senate bipartisan contrived document released recently have guaranteed destruction of the middle class. Both bills will give amnesty to illegals and guarantee the continued influx of an underclass from other nations, Mexico and Latin America.
Some place in time, in order to assure an ever widening gap between the middle class and the self-perceived ruling elite, a decision was made to allow the illegals to flood through our borders so day-to-day work can be performed at half the normal rate to increase profits of the elite. The middle class in turn pays the day-to-day taxes to support the illegals with hospitalization, schools, water, sewer, roads and jobs.
Why, for an example, has the U.S. not asked the government of Mexico to clean up its own corruption and examine the poverty and birth rate in its own country? Mexico is a leading oil producer, has an expanding tourist trade to both oceans, and can and does produce jobs for the Mexican middle class. The poor are encouraged to illegally cross the borders of the U.S. and work to send money home to Mexico so the Mexican government does not have provide food and housing for their own underclass.
One cannot blame the underclass of Mexico for wanting a decent and productive life, but why don't they not stay home and establish economic and social reform in their own country? In the past, revolutions in Mexico were common place, but the Mexican government has found a better safety valve: illegal immigration to the U.S.
The lengthy wait to gain legal entry into this country is necessary, and there is a set of laws already in place. All immigrants are welcome as long as they apply and follow the current rules established for the legal migration to this country.
Consider this. If you are a legal citizen, you cannot be exploited easily by employers who feed off your illegal status. If you had to pay hospital and dental insurance, retirement, schooling and infrastructure improvements, would you really work for less? Of course not. Become a member the American middle class and demand the governments be responsible to all citizens.
The current amnesty bills proposed by the government include a cabinet level position to administer the programs and a myriad of jobs created to assure political nepotism and yet another level of bureaucratic expense. You can be assured the annual battle cry will be, we need more funding to provide the protection needed for the U.S. citizens. You might consider recent history, the multibillion dollar U.S. resources did not prevent zealots from destroying the World Trade Center or a large portion of the Pentagon.
I believe that 70 percent of the U.S. citizens of this country do not want amnesty programs or illegal immigration. Why then should we stand still when the majority of the members of Congress are trying to force the acceptance of illegals down our throats in the name of human rights or national security? Inform your congressman this is not acceptable.
