From Laos to Greeley, Manichanh found love of tennis
July 29, 2007 CommentsPrintEmail Meng Manichanh’s first exposure to tennis came as a child in Laos where he used to get paid a quarter a ball to track down errant shots as a ball boy for the wealthy players at the local country club.
However, it wasn't until Manichanh left the the small communist state in southeast Asia and settled in Greeley permanently that he learned how to play the sport.
Now he is a fixture in the Greeley tennis community. Read how Manichanh fared in his match Sunday at the Greeley Tennis Championships in Monday's Tribune.
