Disabled transportation forum Thursday

Print Comment
A disabilities group is hosting a transportation forum this week to discuss transportation goals for disabled people in Weld County and to discuss a proposed sales tax increase that would benefit Greeley's bus system.

The Weld Advocacy Network on Disabilities will host the forum from noon to 3 p.n. Thursday at First United Methodist Church's Fellowship Hall, 919 10th St.

Speakers at the event will solicit input from residents on paratransit and the bus and will hear ideas for long-term plans for the system.

Lunch will be served to residents who RSVP to Melissa at Connections for Independent Living at (970) 352-8682.
