I'm not helping higher education anymore

They said we just had to pass Referendum C to help fund higher education. Once again, we see how our hard-earned tax dollars are being spent. I quit supporting the University of Colorado years ago; now the University of Northern Colorado has sunk to a new low. (Reference: "Sex series gets cooled, but just by a degree," Sept. 28 Tribune.) My support for any higher education funding has come to an end until serious reform takes place.

Bush is a patriot

I notice it gets easier every day to call our president a killer; even worse, a war criminal. I believe George Bush is one of our finest patriots and has the guts and strength to defend our country. I feel that anyone who doesn't understand him is either real dumb or real yellow.
