As the issue of uranium mining in Nunn heats up across northern Colorado, the University of Northern Colorado Sustainability Forum is providing area residents an opportunity to learn more about the potential effects of this plan.
Featured guest Coloradoans Against Resource Development will deliver a 60-90 minute presentation on the potential economic and health effects of the proposed mining. An open forum will take place afterward for a discussion on the issue.
The meeting will take place at 7 tonight at McKee Hall L152 at UNC in Greeley.
