LOVELAND — Resurrection Fellowship's Rapha Women's Ministry will host a women's event at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. with Jean Blackmer.
As Rapha's November speaker, Blackmer's topic will be "Have a 'Mary' Christmas!" She will talk about how most women experience a "Martha" Christmas and are so filled with worry that they miss the peace Mary found sitting at Jesus' feet.
Blackmer co-wrote the book "Where Women Walked: Powerful True Stories of Women's Perseverance and God's Provision." Her new book, "Living Loud! Making the Most of Life with Boys," will be available next summer.
Child care is provided at the 9:30 a.m. event for ages infant through kindergarten. A home-school enrichment class is offered for grades 1-5. All children are asked to bring a sack lunch. For the 6:30 p.m. event, child care is provided for children up to 3 years old; Awana is available for ages 4-12.
Resurrection Fellowship is one-half mile east of I-25, off Exit 259, on Crossroads Boulevard, Loveland. For more information, call (970) 667-5479.
