Kindness starts with us, especially our youth. Many area youth have made tracks through Denkai Animal Sanctuary, some in desperate need of sanctuary themselves and others as part of group organizations in Larimer and Weld counties.
The weekend before Christmas was aglow with kindness. Fifteen youths from Turning Point in Fort Collins helped clean up the shop, clean animal pens, brushed horses and learned about the neglect and abuses these animals have endured. Most of the time, these kids can relate!
We truly enjoy having groups like this out and making a difference in the lives of youth and animals in our community.
