The next step of transportation in northern Colorado is the focus of an upcoming forum that may feature Gov. Bill Ritter and Sen. Ken Salazar.

The North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization announced on Friday that the event will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. March 26 at the 1st National Bank Exhibition Hall at The Ranch in Loveland.

Ritter has been invited to be the keynote speaker. He is expected to speak about challenges facing the region and state in the area of transportation, according to a release from the organization. Salazar is expected to speak about opportunities for federal transportation legislation.
