Banquet and auction to benefit single mothers

An annual benefit dinner is set for this weekend to benefit single mothers and their children.

The fifth Taste of Elegance banquet and auction will take place Saturday at the First United Presbyterian Church Celebration Center, 1321 9th Ave.

The event will include a dinner served by Chef Marcos Baltierra, a former chef at Brown Palace, and auctions to benefit the Genesis Project of Northern Colorado, said Karla Grieser with the Genesis Project, a non-profit Christian organization.

To make reservations to the banquet and auction call Karla Grieser at 970-284-6284.
