Home Connection: April is Affiliate Appreciation Month

The social committee of the Greeley Area Realtor Association determined that the month of April is Affiliate Appreciation Month to show appreciation for all the support and education the affiliate members provide the Realtors and the Greeley area communities.

Affiliate members consist of property managers, mortgage companies, title companies, appraisers, and carpet and flooring companies, just to name a few. They provide many vital services for Realtors and their clients.

Committee members have planned activities throughout the month of April, such as Realtors writing affiliates personal thank-you notes, committee members bringing breakfast for the affiliates attending a weekly MLS meeting, Realtors bringing chocolate candy Hugs and Kisses to a meeting for affiliate members, as well as having drawings for lucky affiliates. A potluck for the affiliates will be held with all the attending Realtors bringing food and drink.

The Grand Finale will be Realtors taking their favorite affiliate out to lunch to once again say "thank you" for the great services and support they provide for Greeley and surrounding communities.

The Community Recognition Committee of the Greeley Realtor association has many community functions, including an afternoon of street cleanup, providing yard cleanup for a needy resident in the county and helping Habitat for Humanity build a home later this year.

The Greeley association Realtors and affiliate members contribute to the community in many ways and are blessed with the members who volunteer to provide those free services for the region's communities.
