State patrol seeks vehicle that hit pedestrian on I-25

The Colorado State Patrol is looking for the vehicle that hit a pedestrian in the northbound lanes of Interstate 25 about six miles south of the Wyoming border early Thursday morning.

The male pedestrian was transported to the Medical Center of the Rockies and is listed in critical condition, according to a release from the state patrol.

The incident may have happened between midnight and 2 a.m. Thursday, according to a release from the state patrol.

Investigators are looking for a large Ford vehicle, possibly a 650 series to a larger Ford, which they believe may have hit the pedestrian. The vehicle, they suspect, did not stop after the pedestrian was hit. According to the release, the vehicle likely is missing its right front passenger's right turn signal housing and may also have noticeable right front damage.
