Driver in fatal truck rollover identified

A truck driver killed Monday on U.S. 287 northwest of Fort Collins, has been identified as an Aurora man.
Richard Burghardt, 55, was driving a Mack truck on the highway when he lost control of the truck on an icy road. The vehicle rolled on its side, killing Burghardt.
The Colorado State Patrol said Burghardt was a private contractor, carrying the U.S. Mail. He was wearing his seat belt when the crash occurred, and he was not ejected from the truck.
Reports stated the truck skidded out of control on the icy highway near Virginia Dale, south of the Wyoming state line, ran off the highway, hit a post and overturned.
