Two vehicles involved in rollover crash south of Windsor
Staff Reports April 11, 2008 CommentsPrintEmail Two vehicles were involved in a rollover crash Thursday night near Windsor.
The crash, which took place about 8 p.m., occurred south of Windsor at Weld County Road 17 and Crossroads Boulevard. According to Todd Vess, spokesperson for the Windsor Fire Department, one person was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening. Vess did not know what hospital the person was taken to.
Vess said the crash occurred when a black Dodge pickup that was being driven by the injured person was t-boned by a late-1980s sedan. The pickup then rolled down a ravine on the southwest corner of the intersection, coming to a rest on the driver's door.
It is unknown if drugs, alcohol or the vehicles' speed played a part in the crash.
