Print Comment
A citizenship workshop will celebrate the national Day of Citizenship Saturday with a free seminar to help legal residents apply for U.S. citizenship.

Several organization, including the Colorado Progressive Coalition, Ya Es Hora and the American Immigration Lawyers association will host the workshop, which is closed to undocumented workers.

The workshop, in addition to being open for legal residents, is also open to activists, translators, volunteer and professional attorneys, nonprofit groups and community organization representatives, according to a release.

The event, one of six statewide, will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Billie Martinez Elementary School in the gym, 341 14th Ave.

To register for the event, call the Ya Es Hora Colorado hotline at (303) 995-9662.
