The Greeley/Weld League of Women Voters will host the state president of the group at its annual meeting Saturday.
Marjory Beal, the state president of the League, will join the Greeley/Weld members at 9 a.m. Saturday at the central Greeley Egg and I, 2305 27th St.
Beal will update members on state and national issues and will focus on health care reform proposals and statewide selection of judges. Beal will also discuss the group’s opposition to Amendment 46, an anti-Affirmative Action measure.
Outgoing Greeley/Weld League President Hazel Gibson will oversee the election of new officers as well discussion of the group’s focus for the next year.
