Print Comment
Families are the focus of a fun run/walk on Sunday at Sanborn Park in Greeley.

CommWorks Institute and students from the University of Northern Colorado School of Communication are hosting the Family Communication Festival and 1-3-kilometer Fun Walk/Run.

Families are invited to enjoy the festival and walk or run around the park from 1 to 5 p.m. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 11 to 17 and $2 for children under 10. A $15 family pack is available.

There will also be performances, food, activity centers, talk circles and more. Greeley Mayor Ed Clark will read a "Family Communication Proclamation" at 2:30 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit the CommWorks Institute, a program dedicated to helping families in northern Colorado communicate better.
