Two days of serious wordplay are on tap at Aims Community College this week.
The Aims English Honor Society is holding its first "Scrabble Survivor" tournament. The tournament will take place from noon to 3 p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday.
Games, open to students, faculty and administrators, will be held in College Center, rooms 727 and 728. Beginners are welcome.
Prizes will be awarded for the winner of the most games, highest individual game score, highest individual word play and other categories. Double points will be awarded for "Survivor" theme words and Hawaiian garb is encouraged.
