Why should a post office have to stay open past normal hours to accommodate a bunch of irresponsible procrastinating adults? Personally, I wouldn't want the stress waiting till 11:30 p.m. on April 15. Suck it up. Get your taxes in the mail on April 14 or deal with the situation you created by waiting till late on April 15.

GREAT COLUMN, LETTER

I commend writer for efforts on English

Guest columnist Laura Manuel raised valid points regarding the disintegration of written English. I commend Ms. Manuel for her worthy efforts on behalf of correct grammar, punctuation and spelling. She's absolutely right. It's a disaster out there, a veritable wasteland.

'I wished that I would have written' that letter

I'm commenting on the article written by Alberta Hergenreder in the Tribune today and what an excellent article it was, and I wished that I would have written it. Congratulations for somebody thinking about how Americans should be. Thank you.

My comment is concerning the Mailbox that was in the paper on Saturday, "Let's make all people be American." What a great article. We should make Alberta president. Thank you.

A reason to complain

I have read many Two Cents opinions regarding people speeding and running red lights in Greeley. There really is a problem. Now people are complaining because there are more police officers and they're writing more traffic tickets. I think some people just need something to complain about.
