Your Two Cents for April 24

Print Comment
Keep up the good work

About the people complaining about the traffic officers in town: It seems to me that the only ones who are breaking the laws are not the gang members. It seems like it's the ordinary residents who, instead of leaving two minutes earlier, run stop signs and speed. Let's keep it up, mayor. You're doing a very job. And to the chief, very good job, thank you. You're doing what you're paid for.

A sad state of affairs

I'm calling because I just read Joseph Endorph's letter bout his Virgin of Guadalupe wheelcover. I just think that it's really sad that racism in this city has gotten so bad, that you can't even have a symbol of Our Lord's mother on your vehicle without being a victim of racism. It's just a very sad state of affairs.

Don't censure Bruce

Rep. Kathleen Curry is totally off base in censuring Rep. Doug Bruce over his use of two simple words in the English language. They are "illiterate" and "peasant." Does political correctness now determine what words go in the English dictionary?

Marvin, Greeley
