Ault man arrested for assaulting females in FunPlex pool

An Ault man was arrested on suspicion of inappropriately touching two 9-year-old girls and an adult female in the swimming pool at the Greeley FunPlex, according to a press release by the Greeley Police Department.

Trinidad Salvador Damian, 56, was booked on felony sexual assault on a child and third degree assault and harassment, according to the press release. On April 8 at 11:30 a.m. Greeley Police responded to the FunPlex in the 1500 block of Leisure Lane in west Greeley regarding a man who had inappropriately touched the two girls two days before.

On April 13 the man, later identified as Damian, returned to the pool and was recognized by a lifeguard. Officers issued Damian a summons to appear in court. Officers then learned he had inappropriately touched another female adult. At that time investigators obtained a warrant for Damian’s arrest, according to the press release.

Damian remains in Weld County Jail with no bond pending his court appearance.
