An auction of items belonging to Greeley icon W.D. Farr was held Saturday at his home.
The estate auction was managed by Kreps Wiedeman Auctioneers & Real Estate Inc. of Greeley.
Terry Wiedeman, an owner of the auction company, said all of the 450 items were sold, many to family members. Some of the more notable items sold were Farr's hunting trophies, signed photo prints of Presidents Ronald Reagan, George Bush Sr. and George W. Bush. The hunting trophies included Rocky Mountain Sheep, antelopes, a moose, a grizzly bear rug and a Bengal tiger rug.
The auction raised about $50,000, which will go back to the W.D. Farr's estate.
Farr died in August of last year at the age of 97.
