District 6 picked the wrong principal

Thanks for speaking out, Alison Hambling, about Greeley-Evans School District 6. They somehow drove out an excellent principal, then brought in their buddy, when we could have had that guy from Illinois who could have filled Mary Lauer's shoes. I'm grieving, too, these many weeks later.

Does anyone in the city of Greeley believe the crock about the traffic lights being synchronized? I think we need a new traffic engineer who can reprogram the master computer twice a month.

In response to the Wednesday article from Sen. Scott Renfroe and the quote he put in the paper from Teddy Roosevelt. Right on, Mr. Renfroe, I feel that most citizens feel exactly like Teddy Roosevelt's quote. Keep up the good work, and thank you.

Respect those who came here legally

State Sen. Renfroe's guest column was the best article I have read in the Tribune in over two years. Thank you for reminding us of Teddy Roosevelt's words: We have room for but one flag and one language. The American flag and the English language. Yes, we must enforce our laws and show respect to those who have legally immigrated and assimilated to our wonderful country.
