I just read your article regarding the Stampede scoreboard.

It sounds to me like an opportune time for some community-minded citizens and/or avid rodeo fans to get together and raise the needed funds for a new scoreboard.

It would certainly advertise to all who visit Greeley that here is a community that knows how to work together to get something done!

<strong><i>The dump is sure living up to its name</strong></i>

A few weeks ago, my dad and I were driving east on Colo. 14 between Fort Collins and Ault and we passed the dump on the north side of the highway. I couldn't believe all the trash that had blown in the bar pits and across the road and out in the farmers’ fields there.

How can the dump get away with this? It looked horrible. I don't know how the people who live there put up with it.
