The Centennial Chapter of the American Red Cross will host a disaster exercise May 8 with the Poudre Fire Authority and members of the Colorado State University Drama Department.
The exercise will be at 5:30-7:30 p.m. May 8 the Red Cross chapter at 120 Saturn Drive, Fort Collins. It is designed to train red cross volunteers and to educate the public on the Red Cross’ role in disaster relief, according to a release.
The exercise will simulate an apartment building fire and volunteers will provide basic necessities such as clothing and temporary housing as well as water and food to “victims.”
