Hispanic women organization president to present to Weld Dems Friday

Kathy Lopez, the new president of the Hispanic Women of Weld County, will speak to the Weld Democratic Party Friday.

The meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Golden Corral Restaurant, 3035 23rd Ave.

Lopez will present the vision and goals of the Hispanic women's group -- which was formed in Greeley in 1988. She will also discuss the Cinco de Mayo celebration.

All interested residents are invited to attend.
