Greeley will rededicate Swanson Kiwanis Park after finishing a renovation May 10.
The event, an ice cream social, begins at 2 p.m. May 10, at 611 14th Ave.
Improvements to the park are a result of collaboration among Community Development Block Grant funds and donations from the Kiwanis club, Xcel Energy, Colorado Parks and Recreation Association and Landmark Landscape.
The new name will honor Swede Swanson for his vision in creating the park.
