Weld County Combined Courts staff is seeking feedback from residents in a survey for the Colorado Judicial Branch.

The survey, to be conducted May 14-15, is designed to garner information from residents about their experiences as jurors, parties to a case or as recipients of other Judicial Branch services, according to a press release by the Colorado Judicial Branch.

Judges, clerks and other court employees will conduct the anonymous surveys, in English and Spanish, at the Weld County Court Complex, 901 Ninth Avenue.

Topics included in the brief survey are how effective the courts are, how safe people feel in court and if cases are handled well, according to the press release.

“People do not come to the courts expecting to have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience,” said Nineteenth Judicial District Administrator Karen Salaz in the press release. “It is important that we find out if we are doing a good job meeting their needs, and if not, what we can do better.”

The results will be used to gauge the public’s opinion of how the court system is operating, and provide improvements where needed.
