It's the process, not the man, in question

I'm calling in reference to a letter from James stating about Mark Rangel. No one's disputing that Mark Rangel is a wonderful man. What people are saying is that it is the way that he was put into Greeley Central without any input from parents or other teachers. Our superintendent knows exactly who she wants to hire, and that's what she does and makes parents think that they have input, when in reality, they don't.

I'm calling regarding Mike Peters' write-up regarding Douglas Bruce, and I totally agree with him, and I'm just sorry that so many Coloradans are so bigoted that they can't see beyond his idiocy.

ON CHEWING TOBACCO

Why don't you put that in the newspaper?

I'm calling about the chewing tobacco. I have seen pictures of people who chew tobacco and how their mouth just disintegrates with the chewing tobacco. Why don't they put a picture of that in the newspaper?

Tobacco ban is stupid

I was reading the story in last week's paper about the city of Greeley wanting to ban giving out free samples of smokeless tobacco. I think that's pretty stupid. If people want to chew tobacco, that's their choice. It's a free country. What's next? Are you going to ban fattening food or ban sugar or candy? The city council people need to get a life.
