Residents are invited to preview the new and improved U.S. 34 and Interstate 25 interchange.

An open house will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Fairfield Inn, 1710 Foxtrail Drive in Loveland concerning the $12 million project.

According to a release, the project, which is scheduled to begin late this summer, will remove the loop ramps in the northeast and southeast portion of the interchange and widen the existing off-ramps on this portion. The project is also slated to improve the acceleration and deceleration lanes of I-25 and U.S. 34 while improving the architecture of the interchange to make it more pleasing to the eye, the release said.

Centerra Metropolitan District will fund project, the release said.

For more information, please call David Klockman, the Loveland City Engineer, at (970) 962-2514 or call Phil Weisbach, the contract manager, at (303) 441-5411. Residents can also call Scott Waterman, the consultant project manager, at (303) 297-2976.
