The council members did the right thing
This is to guest columnist Jack Morris, and the council members did the right thing in throwing big tobacco out of the Greeley Stampede. The Weld County commissioners did the wrong thing on not backing our county health department in those efforts.

In appreciation of Mike Peters' column
Thank you, thank you, Mike Peters. Greeley just keeps coming up with one more reason to go elsewhere for rest and relaxation. And once again, responsible dog owners are lumped in with all irresponsible dog owners. Why not keep an eye out for those who do not clean up after their animals or whose animals are clearly not under the owners' control, and leave the rest of us alone? Or better yet, by the big "Welcome to Greeley" sign, put up another that says, "Pet lovers are not welcome. Turn around now or risk arrest."

This Mike Peters ...
You have the right to publish the comments, but you're afraid of Zeke. This Mr. Peters, if he ever lost his camera, he'd be in the Bonell home. I rest my case.

Thanks to the woman who returned my purse
I have another act of kindness in Greeley. I was at the Wal-Mart on 47th Avenue last week and accidentally left my purse in the shopping cart. Some nice lady turned it in to Wal-Mart, and I didn't get her name -- I wish I would have -- but I just want to thank her for turning it in, and she saved my life. She is a blessed lady, and I hope the best for her. God bless her.

'I want to thank the honest man ...'
I want to thank the honest man who found my purse in the shopping cart of the grocery store. He took it to the store, where they called me.
