Join the Greeley Senior Center Team for the Rocky Mountain Senior Games from June 18-22. Team shirts can be purchased by calling Meredith at (970) 350-9560. Senior Games registration forms are available at the senior center or can be downloaded online at www.rmseniorgames.com.

From 8-10 a.m. May 21, don't miss our free pancake breakfast offering pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice.

At 9 a.m. this Monday, take a walking tour of the world's largest brewery on one site, Coors Brewery in Golden. Member fee is $10. Nonmember fee is $15.

Strike It Rich at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Doc Holiday's Casino. The fee is $14 per person. Refunds will be issued after the registration deadline only if your canceled seat is filled by another participant.

At 9:30 a.m. Thursday, the Gabbie Gourmet takes you to The Peck House in Empire. Member fee is $10. Nonmember fee is $15.

Enjoy the outdoors on our spring hiking trips escorted by Audrey Myers. Explore Devil's Backbone on Friday and Bobcat Ridge on May 30. Bring your sack lunch and plenty of water. Depart from the Senior Center at 7:45 a.m. Member fee is $15. Nonmember fee is $20.

At 9 a.m. May 19, visit "Antique Row" on Broadway, a thriving neighborhood near downtown Denver. Explore the various businesses, antique shops and historic structures. This trip requires a considerable amount of walking. Lunch is on your own at the restaurant of your choice. Registration fees are $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers.

Extended travel offered through Specialty Tours includes the Taos Spring Arts and Crafts Festival going on now through Tuesday, the Albuquerque Balloon Festival and Cumbres Toltec Railroad on Oct. 9-13, Covered Bridges and Foliage Festival on Oct. 11-21, and Branson Showtime Fall Foliage Excursion on Oct. 14-20. For these tours we will provide transportation from the senior center to the Specialty Tour pickup point in Loveland. You can receive a daily itinerary or register by calling Carrie, (970) 350-9438.

Teams and players ages 50 or better by Dec. 31 are invited to participate in the Rocky Mountain Senior Games 3-on-3 Basketball Tourney July 18-20 in Greeley. For details, contact Carrie at (970) 350-9438.

Afternoon table tennis is offered at 1:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. No fee for members. Nonmembers pay the $2 daily drop-in fee or $5 monthly fee. At 6 p.m. Wednesdays and the first, third, fourth and fifth Fridays of each month, play open table tennis. The fee is $3 per person, per night, payable at the door. Enjoy a round-robin tournament at 6 p.m. the second Friday of each month for just $5 per person.

At 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Great Books will discuss "The Tempest" by William Shakespeare. Books can be purchased or found at the High Plains Library District libraries.

"Waitress" is the Friday movie at 1 p.m. this Friday. There is no charge for the movie and popcorn.

Front desk volunteers are needed for every other afternoon on Wednesdays. For details, call Amy at (970) 350-9442.

Nutrition volunteers are needed twice a month from 9:30-11:30 a.m. to help with check-in, and once a week from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. to help in the kitchen. For details, please contact Doris Gilreath at (970) 350-9440.
