Johnstown hosts Imagine Johnstown Town Talk

JOHNSTOWN -- Residents have an opportunity to impact the future of their community Tuesday at the "Imagine Johnstown Action Plan" town talk hosted by the town.

Thus far, the organization has held upward of 35 of the town talks at individual's homes, said Susan Watkins with Imagine Johnstown.

The meetings are the first step in a three-step action plan to better define the future of Johnstown. The town talks are intended to help residents identify what they value about their community and what they would like to see in the future, Watkins said.

"It is a look at the present and the future," Watkins said.

For those interested in attending the town talk meeting, it is at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Johnstown Town Hall, 101 Charlotte St.
