Someone stole our Uncle Sam flag

Someone stole the beautiful Uncle Sam with his flag from in front of our house on 26th Avenue. How sad. This was a gift of love for our military and country. We hope you display it with the same pride and love as we did. I hope you are proud to have stooped so low. I'm sure you won't print this again, but it's true. You can't stoop any lower than stealing from other people.

How sad the Tribune didn't cover tribute

Recently, a wonderful tribute was given to the volunteers of Greeley who have given thousands and thousands of hours of service to their community. How sad The Tribune could not give space in their paper to honor the many senior volunteers from our city.

As a longtime cyclist, I seldom get upset with motor vehicle drivers. After all, I'm staying healthy and saving money. They're not. They have my sympathy, not anger.

You wouldn't want a refinery in Ault

It is not the oilman who won't build it here, it's the citizens who will not allow it. So we build the refinery in Ault. You wouldn't let the prison be built here, therefore, maybe we should have the refinery. Ah, but there lies the problem. No one wants a refinery.
