An annual tradition is once again opening up for business.
Residents in search of fresh produce, poultry, plants, meats and crafts may now be in luck as the Greeley Farmers Market is once again open for the season. The market, in its 17th season, is open from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Saturdays and beginning on July 2, the market will be open from 3-6 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Colorado Quest EBT will now be accepted at the market for residents who receive food stamps. Another program, the Greeley Farmers Market Bucks, will allow residents to use debit cards at the market.
The Wednesday market will be open until Oct. 1, while the Saturday market will run until Oct. 25, a release said. For more information or to become a vendor, please call Karen Scopel at 350-9783 or visit www.greeleygov.com/fm. Pets are not allowed at the market.
