Woman ejected, killed in rollover crash on I-25

A woman was killed Saturday afternoon when she was ejected from her car that rolled on northbound Interstate 25.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene near I-25 and Weld County Road 8 southwest of Dacono. Authorities are working to identify the woman who was involved in the crash with a second vehicle. It was also unknown who was in the second vehicle and what injuries they sustained, according to Trooper Gilbert Mares, spokesman with the Colorado State Patrol.

Mares said one of the vehicles swerved to avoid an object on the road and hit the other one. One of the vehicles then rolled, ejecting and killing the woman, Mares said. It was unclear if the woman was wearing her seatbelt.
